I'm just hoping that we can get our centers healthy enough that ZAR and Teddy actually play 4th line minutes this season. |

I would be in favor of a Zucker for Domi trade. Cap is about the same and only one year left on his deal. I know he is a huge question mark with injury, but we know there is little chemistry with Zucker and Malkin. Domi would add size and grit and, who knows, may gel with Sid or Geno. I would rather try something than just hope that reshuffling the bottom six is good enough... idk... |

Domi is the same size as Zucker and throws the amount of hits Zucker does. He just runs his mouth a lot more. I think they keep Zucker to play with Carter. We know Sully likes his "pairs". Sid and Jake, Geno and Kapanen, Carter and Zucker, ZAR and Blueger. We will likely see wingers just cycling through during the season to find fits. |

So what you’re saying is you don’t know who Max Domi is. |

He also averages 40 hits per 82 games. Doesn’t get much “softer” than that. |

Domi is 5'10" 198 lbs. That's size these days? |

He also averages the same amount of hits per 60 the last 3 seasons as known physical presence Conor Sheary. |

No, we're not too different from the start, but we're vastly different than the end and that's an issue IMO. - Rinosaur
That's apples to oranges IMO, so just agree to disagree there. I'll compare last year's playoff roster to this year's after the deadline. For now, what matters to me is does this team stack up to last year's entering the regular season. |

Anybody catch Beau Bennetts' interview? Says some interesting stuff... Like how Adams and Geno wound up fighting, Vitel threatening Disco Dan, and Oshie"s hot on him...

Thanks for pointing that out. It's not a good look for Geno to skip practice to party the night before, but who did Craig Adams think he was to try to punish him for it? |

I think Adams thought he was a player/coach since he spent so much time in Disco's office ratting on his teammates

In Malkin's defense, New Years is the equivalent of Christmas in western cultures for Russians. They even have a Santa Claus equivalent (Grandfather Frost). So in Russia, a lot of the secular celebrations we associate with Christmas are a New Years thing. I'm sure Malkin wanted to stay home that day not to nurse a hangover, but to enjoy his holiday.
If it were me and someone was asking me to go to practice on Christmas day at 7am, I probably tell them to go screw themselves. As a neutral party in this, I see no issue with Malkin skipping practice here, and Adams was way out of line. |

Grandfather Frost? Next you'll tell me that he has a young girlfriend that looks like a snow maiden. Sounds lazy ... |

What is going on in this photo? Why are there 2 Grandfathers? Seems like something NSFW.

ty was only 5'8" but top ten fighter of his generation. I know Max is no Ty, but its the size of fight in the dog not the size of dog but it doesn't hurt to have both. Our team.lacks both. Crosby and malkin.cant be our toughest or will.once again get ragdolled in the playoffs...im sure jarry would like someone to clear the front of the net, poor guy kept getting run over no wonder his psychic was shot... |

But Domi does nothing that you just said we need. He runs his mouth and walks away. He's a little female dog. |

I dont disagree, i just.meant because he is short/small he is not tough. I watched a few of his hockey fight, he did ok...the sadest part is that he would probably ne are most accomplished fighter on the team. Ots a well known fact, that we are the softest team to play against, it came up interviewes on the fan,.madden, and.dk sports...i dont care about Fighting just want a few players that punish people with se hard checks and help are goalies out...
